Azure Afternoon Hello- 23rd February 2024
I'm loving the subtle effect of the dry embossing in the background. I love that the embossing is only on two-thirds of the card, it actually looks better than if it were on the whole card. Another example of 'less is more'.
Petal Pink Hello- 5th January 2024
I'm not sure which element of this card is my favourite. It's either the 'make any embellishment self-adhesive' hack I used, or the Petal Pink Glimmer shadow behind the 'Hello'.

My favourite part of this card is the use of the two different leaf design. Some being stamped and some being out of solid card. The Loose Frosted Dots are pretty 'speccy' too.

Sometimes it's the simplest things that are the best! The hero on this card is definitely the 'Basics 3D Embossing Folder'. The subtle texture compliments the flowers beautifully! (If I do say so myself.)

I thought I was going mad when I saw a stamp set in the latest Sale-a-Bration Catalogue that was dedicated to... carrots. I mean, seriously! But I ordered one anyway and you know, I think it's pretty cute now.

This was such a fun stampin' project to make and I can't wait to make more. I'm starting to really make my cards a bit more 'busy' and I'm really pleased with how they are turning out. After making cards for 20 (plus) years, I am still always learning new techniques and designs.

Hello Owl - 26th January 2023
I don't know anyone who hasn't fallen beak over feet in love with these owls! Perfect for a 'Hello' card when you are sending it out 'just because'. I have the ideal recipient in mind for this one too.
The Dandy Designs DSP helped me choose the colours for my owl too. (It's a colour guide, when you don't know which colours to use.)
At first I didn't put the Glossy Dots on so it lacked a little 'something'. Add the Glossy Dots and 'viola' we have a card worth sending!
Dainty Delight -16th January 2023
I have received so much positive feedback on this card, but I'm not sure how I feel about it. I wonder if there is just too much going on? It's kind of hard to see in the picture, but even the 'blank space' white behind the flowers has been dry-embossed with Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. Then with the Iridescent Jewels and the Baker's Twine, I'm not sure where to look first!
Petal Park - 8th January 2023
My first stampin' project of 2023! I'm not into fussy cutting, but this was pretty quick and easy. The flowers and some leaves were punched but the background leaves I had to cut out. The paper snips make nice clean cuts with no tearing like some other scissors do. Once again, the DSP directed me to my colours, using Blackberry Bliss and Daffodil Delight together isn't something I would have thought of myself. My favourite part? The subtle circle from the Watercolour Shapes stamp set on the die-cut circle.
